Responsibilities include EKG testing, specimen collection, routine vital signs, and blood glucose testing. Strong data recording and teamwork are essential for patient flow and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire.
• Mandatory nonviolent crisis prevention training during orientation and annually.

Responsibilities

• Perform time sensitive EKG testing and inform care team promptly.
• Collect specimens per policy and training requirements.
• Take routine vital signs and document in the medical record.
• Perform blood glucose testing as ordered.
