Job summary

Saint Luke's Health System in Kansas is seeking a Full-Time ED Technician to support the emergency department team. The role involves direct and indirect patient care, including bathing, hygiene, feeding, hydration, and mobility, with a focus on patient safety and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Six months ED/EMT experience preferred.
• Must complete SLHS nursing support training if no prior experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care as delegated by RN.
• Assist with bathing, hygiene, feeding, hydration and toileting.
• Support mobility, positioning, and rounds in the ED.
• Maintain ED-specific competencies and communicate with the team.
• Participate in safety and patient satisfaction initiatives.
