Job summary

Saint Luke's Health System is seeking an ED Technician to assist with direct and indirect patient care in the emergency department under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include bathing, hygiene, elimination, feeding, hydration, ambulation, and positioning, while supporting patient safety and satisfaction through regular rounds.

Six months experience or greater as an ED Technician or EMT is preferred; applicants without experience may enroll in the SLHS nursing support

Qualifications

• Six months experience or greater as a ED Technician or EMT preferred.
• Applicants with no experience must successfully complete the SLHS nursing support training program as a condition of hire to the emergency room.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct and indirect patient care tasks under RN supervision.
• Provide basic patient care: bathing, hygiene, elimination, nutrition, hydration, ambulation, and positioning.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort with regular rounds and effective team communication.
