Overlake Medical Center in Bellevue invites applications for the Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) position. The ED Tech delivers direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and may assist with point-of-care testing and specimen collection.

Qualifications

• WA NA-C or NA-R license required or will consider NA-R.
• MA-P licensure within 90 days of hire.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• Minimum of one year of healthcare experience with patient contact preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and EKG preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision.
• May perform waived and moderately complex point-of-care testing.
• Obtain blood samples and transport specimens as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and operate hospital equipment.
