Job summary

Overlake Medical Center in Bellevue, WA is seeking an Emergency Department Technician (part-time 0.6 FTE) to support the ED under RN supervision. The role includes direct patient care, blood sample collection, point-of-care testing, and specimen transport in a Level III Trauma Center setting.

Required WA NA-C or NA-R, WA MA-P with 90 days, and BLS for Health Care Providers; at least one year of healthcare experience is preferred. Competitive benefits and flexible shifts are offered.

Qualifications

• Requires WA NA-C or WA NA-R license at hire.
• WA MA-P (phlebotomist) license within 90 days.
• BLS for Health Care Providers required.
• Minimum of one year of health care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Perform waived and moderately complex point-of-care testing and related quality activities.
• Obtain blood samples from patients and transport specimens.
• Maintain hospital equipment and record-keeping processes.
• Deliver excellent customer service and effective communication with patients and families.
