Geisinger is seeking an Emergency Room Technician I to join our team in Scranton, PA. The role offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates and a minimum hiring rate of $15.91 per hour, with higher rates for experienced staff and potential shift differentials.

Responsibilities include providing basic patient care under RN supervision, triaging and documenting patient needs, assisting with wound care, EKGs, and transporting patients and supplies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Basic Life Support certification is required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triages patient care and documents needs.
• Reports changes in patient condition to RN.
• Assists with wound care, splinting, and EKGs.
• Transports patients and materials as needed.
• Maintains unit environment per policy and procedure.
• Coordinates care with providers and patients.
