Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our advanced acute care units in the Danville area. The role offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates and a minimum starting rate of $18.94 per hour, with shift differentials for evenings, nights and weekends.

The position includes on‑the‑job training and potential nursing career advancement. Schedule features three 12‑hour day shifts per week with two‑week orientation, Monday–Friday, and options for RN/LPN student associates.

Qualifications

• Motivated to deliver high quality patient care and meet scheduling requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and patient care.
• Take vital signs and daily weights; perform point-of-care testing.
• Turn, reposition and assist with patient mobility and safety.
• Support nursing staff and document patient information.
• Perform clerical duties for admissions and transfers as needed.
