Emerus seeks an ER Technician to provide technical assistance and supportive patient care across assigned areas. You will collect vital signs, specimens, and basic lab work, while assisting with admissions, transfers and discharges as needed.

The role requires compliance with HIPAA and infection control standards, with duties encompassing patient safety, privacy, and collaborative teamwork in a small-format hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with related healthcare credentialing.
• Current BLS required; ACLS/ALS preferred in most markets.
• PALS strongly preferred; IV start, phlebotomy and EKG initiation experience valued.
• ER technical background or CNA/Anesthesia Tech experience is a plus.
• Must be fluent in English, with clear written and verbal communication.

Responsabilités

• Collect, report, and document clinical data including vitals and intake/output.
• Collect lab samples and perform tests per policies and CLIA/COLA.
• Assist with patient activities and care as directed by the charge nurse.
• Provide superficial wound care and ensure patient safety.
• Maintain patient privacy and a safe, clean environment.
