Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Full-time Emergency Department Technician at Banner University Medical Center South Campus in Tucson. The role covers day or night shifts (7am–7pm or 7pm–7am) with a rotating schedule, 3 shifts per week, and every 3rd weekend/holiday coverage.

A $1/hour weekend differential applies and comprehensive benefits are offered. The position supports RN/MD with patient care, performs EKGs and vital signs, and assists with procedures within training scope.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required.
• EMT-B or higher with state licensure or CNA license required for new hires.

Responsibilities

• Perform EKGs, vital signs, and specimen collection.
• Assist with minor surgical/health procedures under supervision.
• Document patient information and monitor condition changes.
• Maintain supply levels and clean, safe environment.
• Participate in orientation and training of new ED Technicians.
