Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
• Requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Either EMT-B or higher with state licensure or state certification, or CNA in state of practice is required.
• Position requires basic computer skills, effective communication (written and verbal) skills, and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Perform ECG testing, wound cleansing, vital sign measurements, monitor leads, specimen collection, and transports.
• Assist with patient exams and minor surgical or health procedures within training scope.
• Perform phlebotomy, saline lock insertion, IV discontinuation, and Foley catheterization as trained.
• Document vital signs and procedures in the patient record and communicate changes to care team.
