Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, seeks an Emergency Care Technician to join our ER team. The incumbent will perform selected patient care tasks under nurse supervision and follow detailed instructions, with guidance from nursing staff as needed. The role is part-time with per diem, rotating shifts (7am–7pm and 7pm–7am).

Per Diem, as needed. Shifts 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am. Weekend rotating holidays required. Per Department needs.

An Emergency Care Technician, under the direction and supervision of the nurse, performs selected patient care tasks and other duties. Follows detailed and specific instructions; matters not covered are verified with the nurse.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• The individual is preferred to be licensed as a CNA, PCA, MA, EMT, or EMT-P. The certifications must be held at the state level or be nationally registered.
• BLS
