Trinity Health is seeking an Emergency (ER) Tech in Brighton to support the ER team with direct patient care and ADL assistance. Under RN supervision, you will help create a clean, safe environment and contribute to relationship-based care.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and either 1 year of direct care experience or completion of CENA/PCT/MA/EMT; student nurses must have completed BSN fundamentals. Part-time shifts offered, with training provided.
The ER Tech, under the direction of a registered nurse,is responsible fordirect patient care considering age specific,developmental,culturaland spiritual needs. Theyassistinestablishingand maintaining a patient care environment that is clean,safeand conducive to patient/family wellbeing including concepts of relationship-based care.

Student nurses must have completed their nursing fundamentals class of a BSN program.
Training is provided to prepare our colleagues for success.
The ER Techassistspatientin completing ADLsincluding:Bathing, showering, toileting, positioning, turning, transferring, ambulation using assistive devices and with feeding and menu selection.
An ER Tech will collect and send specimens including blood and blood cultures and inserts andremovesperipheral IV catheters. They are responsibleto recordpatient information and required data inappropriate areasin order tomeet documentation requirements.
Services include an award-winning 24-hour emergency department,inpatientand outpatient surgery, including joint replacement, a variety of diagnostic and outpatient services and over 300 physicians serving patients.
Trinity Health Livingston Hospital’s Emergency Department (ED) is available24-hoursa day,365 daysa year to care for minor illnesses/injuries, as well as major life-threatening, traumatic,medicaland surgical problems.
