Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking an ER Tech to join the Emergency Room team on a rotating shift. This position is part-time with per diem options and requires availability for weekends and holidays.

The ER Tech will work under the direction of nurses, performing selected patient care tasks and following detailed instructions. Preferred qualifications include CNA/PCA/MA/EMT certifications and BLS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Licensure as CNA, PCA, MA or EMT at state or national level preferred.
• BLS certification required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under the direction of a nurse.
• Perform routine tasks as assigned and follow detailed instructions.

Per Diem, as needed. Shifts 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am. Weekend rotating holidays required. Per Department needs.

An Emergency Care Technician, under the direction and supervision of the nurse, performs selected patient care tasks and other duties. Follows detailed and specific instructions; matters not covered are verified with the nurse.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• The individual is preferred to be licensed as a CNA, PCA, MA, EMT, or EMT-P. The certifications must be held at the state level or be nationally registered.
