Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. seeks an Emergency Room Technician/ER Tech/Paramedic for night shifts in a small-format hospital. You will assist with vital signs, specimen collection, and patient care under supervision. Travel to sites may be required as part of the role.

The position emphasizes patient safety, privacy, aseptic technique, and collaboration with nursing staff to support treatment plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• EMT-P, ACLS, and PALS certifications preferred in most markets.
• At least 1 year ER or hospital experience is required in some markets.

Responsibilities

• Collect, report, and document vital signs and patient data.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform basic lab tests as per policy.
• Assist with patient activities and care per plan of care.
• Provide superficial wound care and maintain patient safety.
• Maintain privacy, infection control, and aseptic technique.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge; document data accordingly.
