Job summary

MultiCare Off Campus Emergency Departments are seeking an Emergency Services Technician Lab to support practitioners with patient care and administrative procedures in a fast-paced ED setting.

This role emphasizes safe care, collaboration with the team, and ongoing learning to improve patient outcomes. A high school diploma and Washington licensure, with BLS, are required; phlebotomy/EKG experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Washington State MA-P/NA-R licensure within 120 days; CNA/NA-R substitution rules apply.
• Phlebotomy experience and EKG initiation; MA-Phlebotomist cert preferred.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care as directed in the ED setting.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment through critical thinking and teamwork.
• Collaborate with the ED team to improve quality of care and patient experience.
• Foster a learning environment for patients, families and health care staff.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds.
