Job summary

Blessing Health System is seeking a position responsible for assisting in the implementation of the care plan provided by the nursing team. This role provides basic care and interventions to designated patient populations and supports patient care unit operations through RN-delegated tasks and those within the scope of practice.

The role serves patients across age groups from neonates to geriatrics, aligning with Blessing Hospital's mission and patient safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Emergency Medical Technician-Basic or Paramedic or LPN or ED experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the care plan provided by the nursing team.
• Provide basic care and interventions to designated patient populations.
• Support the operations of patient care units through tasks delegated by the RN and within scope of practice.
• Perform tasks across multiple age populations from neonate to geriatric.
• Contribute to Blessing Hospital's mission and patient safety initiatives.

JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for assisting in the implementation of the care plan provided by the nursing team. This position provides basic care and interventions to designated patient populations. This position supports the operations of the patient care units through tasks delegated by the RN and through tasks assigned within their scope of practice. This position requires providing services to one or more age populations, including neonate through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals, and direction of the Performance Improvement Process and Patient Safety Plan at Blessing Hospital.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training/Experience:
REQUIRED:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good verbal and written communication skills

PREFERRED:

Emergency Medical Technician-Basic or Paramedic or LPN or ED clinical experience or nursing student with ED experience preferred
