Job summary

Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC) is seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Technician to assist in providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include completing triage documentation, maintaining patient flow, and assisting clinical staff with patient care tasks.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, be a graduate of an accredited Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Cardiac Rescue Technician (CRT), or Paramedic program, and have at least 1 year of related experience. The pay range is $17.64 - $27.48 per hour.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Cardiac Rescue Technician (CRT), or Paramedic program.
• Minimum of at least 1 year’s experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Completes required elements of triage documentation under direction of RN.
• Maintains patient flow as directed.
• Communicates plan of care with patient and family.
• Assists with cleaning ED rooms.
