Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. is hiring an Emergency Room Technician/ER Tech/Paramedic for a 16-bed small-format hospital (8 ER, 8 Inpatient) at Baylor Scott & White Willow Park, 5400 E. Interstate 20 Service Rd, Willow Park, TX 76008.

Day and Swing shifts, full-time. Responsibilities include vitals, specimen collection, patient care assistance, wound care, safety, and support through admissions, transfers, and discharges.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• EMT-P/Paramedic certification or equivalent with at least one year of ER experience
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS/ALS preferred in most markets
• PALS certifications strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Collect, report, and document clinical data including vitals and specimens
• Assist with patient activities and care as indicated by the plan of care
• Provide superficial wound care and maintain patient safety
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and proper aseptic technique
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients
