Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy and EKG skills paired with patient care abilities are expected.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 6 weeks of hire; Mandatory Reporter training within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist triage nursing by taking vitals, rooming patients, and aiding with patient flow.
• Complete daily stocking in the assigned team and support EMS arrivals.
• Transport patients within the hospital (CT, Surgery, or floor).
• Clean rooms, change linens, and prepare areas for the next patient.
• Rounding hourly on patients and communicating needs to the RN.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene and basic care tasks.
• Collect and label urine and venous blood specimens.
