Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist triage nursing by checking vitals, rooming patients, and helping patients leave the car.
• Stock assigned team areas daily.
• Assist RN with EMS patient arrivals.
• Transport patients to CT, Surgery, or to the admitted floor as needed.
• Clean rooms, change linens, dispose of used equipment, and wipe counters as needed.
• Provide hourly rounding and address patient needs or relay to the RN.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene and elimination needs.
• Collect and label specimens (urine, venous blood).
