Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care across diverse acute settings in the Emergency Department. The RN is accountable to the Ohio Board of Nursing and delegates tasks to LPNs and UAPs per the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

You will assess patients, develop and implement care plans, and participate in process improvement to support safety, quality and efficiency in a High Reliability Organization.

Qualifications

• Current RN license from Ohio in good standing.
• BLS certification required.
• BSN required within 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Perform initial and ongoing health status assessments.
• Document planned interventions to meet patient needs.
• Lead process improvement to improve clinical quality and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to revise plans of care as needed.
• Support safety, quality and efficiency in a High Reliability Organization.
