Baldwin Health in Foley, AL seeks an ER Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Room team. This full-time position covers weekends (Fri-Sun) and night shifts (7pm-7am).

A student loan contribution of up to $20k and additional benefits are available for full- and part-time roles. You will deliver patient-centered care following hospital protocols and collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care.
• RN state licensure required (or compact licensure).
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS, PALS, NRP preferred.
• Emergency Services RN competencies include rapid assessment, triage, and procedures.
• Comply with policies, quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Assess patients, document findings, and report changes to care team.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency.
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans with the team.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in CPR/code team activities.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and post-discharge care.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
• Document care thoroughly in the medical record.
• Attend regularly and comply with facility policies.
