The role includes shift highlights such as 3x12s, full-time status, and a focus on rapid triage, critical interventions, and patient education. Nursing skills in acute care and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• RN license required to practice.
• BCLS certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP preferred for advanced or pediatric scenarios.
• Experience in acute care nursing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Assess patients and document findings accurately.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team for care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and post-discharge care.
