Job summary

Emerus is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for our 20-bed small-format hospital in Kentucky. The role focuses on assessing, planning, directing and evaluating patient care in the Emergency Room, with a strong emphasis on timely documentation and adherence to standards.

The position is full-time and features night shifts on weekends (Fri, Sat, Sun, 7pm–7am) with differential pay, a $20,000 sign-on bonus, and a benefits package including 401(k) match and free parking.

Qualifications

• 2+ years ED RN experience required
• Current state RN license
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications required; TNCC preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and document age-appropriate nursing care in the ED
• Follow physician orders and maintain patient safety and privacy
• Collect specimens and perform needed tests following policy and regulations
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques
• Perform admission, transfer and discharge procedures
