Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking an experienced RN for the Emergency Department. This full-time role offers a 36-hour work week with a 6:30am–7pm shift, in a 26-bed ED serving the community 24/7.

You will apply nursing processes and coordinate care with other departments to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. We offer a $20,000 sign-on bonus for experienced nurses, day-one medical/dental/vision benefits, tuition reimbursement, and education support.

Qualifications

• Current RN license (or compact license).
• Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Certifications ACLS and BLS (or within 30 days) and unit-specific certifications.
• Must live within 45 mins of Mercy Hospital Washington.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Evaluates overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
