Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking an experienced RN for our 26-bed Emergency Department in Missouri. You will apply the nursing process to deliver patient care, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinate care with other departments to ensure safe, effective outcomes.

This full-time position offers a 36-hour weekly schedule (2:00 pm–2:30 am) with a generous sign-on bonus up to $20,000 for experienced nurses, as well as Day-One benefits, tuition assistance, and shift

Qualifications

• Current RN license (or compact license).
• Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS (or within 30 days), plus unit-specific certifications.
• Must Live within 45 mins of Mercy Hospital Washington.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
