Job summary

AHMC HealthCare seeks an ER Registered Nurse to deliver direct patient care through the nursing process in a fast-paced emergency department. You will assess, triage, implement interventions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

You must hold a CA RN license and current BCLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, with CPI/AB508 on hire; NRP and Basic Dysrhythmia are preferred for specialized support. Experience in acute care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program.
• Current and valid Registered Nurse license for the State of California.
• Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA), NIHS Stroke; CPI/AB508 on hire; NRP and Basic Dysrhythmia preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid triage and assessment to identify patient needs and set care priorities.
• Provide emergency stabilization and evidence-based life-saving interventions as indicated by acuity.
• Develop and revise individualized care plans every 24 hours or as patient conditions change.
• Document nursing interventions, medications, vital signs, and patient status accurately and legibly.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain unit readiness, ensuring supplies and emergency equipment are stocked and available.
• Demonstrate reliability, manage time effectively, and adhere to hospital policies.
