Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Michigan is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on a part-time schedule (11am–11:30pm, Monday–Friday and every 3rd weekend). Use independent judgment and the nursing process to deliver comprehensive care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN credentialed by the Michigan Board within 60 days of hire date.
• BLS Provider certification per AHA within 90 days of hire date.
• Graduate of an approved RN nursing program.
• One year minimum nursing experience (ER preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide full range of delegated, interdependent and independent nursing care.
• Coordinate discharge planning and develop multi-disciplinary care plans.
• Educate patients and families, document interventions, and monitor outcomes.
