Job summary

Intermountain Health St George Regional Hospital in Utah is seeking an experienced RN for the Emergency Department. This full-time, night-shift role (36 hours/week) requires assessing patients, coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team, and delivering evidence-based nursing interventions.

Responsibilities include planning and implementing care, documenting accurately, and participating in ongoing evaluation of patient outcomes. A BSN is preferred and an RN license is required.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
• Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their BSN within four years of hire.
• Preferred Qualifications: BSN from an accredited institution; BSN required as of 4/27/2025.

Responsibilities

• Assess: perform comprehensive assessments of physical, social, and psychological status.
• Plan: develop individualized care plans with patient, family, and team involvement.
• Implement: direct care and coordinate with interdisciplinary team per plan.
• Evaluate: review outcomes, adjust care plan as needed, ensure timely documentation.
