Job summary

11600 Alta View Hospital in Utah is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This full-time role requires assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care with a focus on interprofessional collaboration and evidence-based practice.

Qualified candidates hold a current RN license, BLS, and experience in emergency/ high-acuity settings. BSN is preferred and compact licenses must transfer within 60 days. 36 hours per week, benefits eligible.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their BSN within four years of hire date.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient’s physical, social, and psychological status and gather information from the interdisciplinary team: patient, family, physician, and others.
• Plan an individualized care plan with patient, family, and team involvement and education.
• Implement care by coordinating the interdisciplinary team and managing time, supplies, and resources.
• Evaluate patient responses and revise the care plan as needed.
• Promote professionalism, comply with standards, and document accurately.
