Job summary

AdventHealth in Littleton, Colorado is seeking an experienced ED Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient assessments and care in a fast-paced emergency department.

You will develop individualized care plans, administer treatments per orders, and educate patients and families to promote understanding and adherence. Strong teamwork and EKG proficiency are expected, with BLS and RN licensure required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum 1 year ED RN experience required.
• Registered Nurse license required.
• BLS certification required.
• May require EKG competency per unit/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological and psychosocial factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and reevaluate as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
