Job summary

AdventHealth Littleton, CO seeks a registered nurse for a PRN night shift (7p-7a). The role requires an Associate Degree in Nursing with 2+ years of acute hospital experience and RN licensure. You will perform patient assessments, administer medications and coordinate care across the team in a high-demand setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to use a high level of abstract reasoning to assess patient, evaluate interventions and revise plan of care.
• Fluent in English (read, verbal and written) [Required].
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate Windows-based programs [Required].

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates critical thinking skills appropriate to patient’s level of care.
• Collects and documents patient health data systematically and timely.
• Conducts thorough, ongoing assessments and develops care plans to optimize outcomes.
• Implements interventions from the plan of care safely and timely.
• Collaborates to promote timely patient placement and coordination of discharge/transfer.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring safety.
• Communicates with patients, families, physicians and staff to maintain professional relations.
• Educates patients and families on health conditions and care plans.
• Maintains compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
