Job summary

MultiCare Health System, Inc. in Spokane Valley, WA is hiring a Staff RN for the ED on a 0.9 FTE, night shift, schedule 3x12. This hospital-based role emphasizes nursing care, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

You will provide patient-centered care using the nursing process, participate in a learning-oriented environment, and support ethical, holistic care for diverse patient populations within a Level III Trauma Center setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required or obtained within five years from date of hire.
• Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred.
• Registered Nurse license in Washington State or multi-state licensure endorsement (MSL) is required.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• Certification in specialty area preferred.
• One year of experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction.
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff and health care team members.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting autonomy, dignity and health of patients from diverse backgrounds.
