Job summary

Affinity Home Health Care Inc in California seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on a full-time night shift. You will provide comprehensive nursing care, triage, and ongoing assessment for diverse ED patients while supervising RN I, ED Techs, and CNAs.

Requirements include a current California RN license, 1–2 years ER experience, active BLS/ACLS/PALS/NIHSS, and EKG testing. Preferred additional certifications include MICN, ED Triage, ENPC, TNCC, PHTLS, CPI and CEN

Qualifications

Current California RN license.
1-2 years of ER experience.
Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications.
Successful completion of EKG testing.
Basic computer skills.
Mastery of RN skills.
Preferred: MICN, ED Triage Course, ENPC, TNCC, PHTLS, CPI, and CEN within 18 months.

Responsibilities

Providing comprehensive nursing care, assessment, planning, and evaluation for diverse ED patients.
Utilizing critical thinking skills in triage and patient care.
Supervising RN I, ED Techs, and CNAs.
Effective communication and positive relationships with patients, families, co-workers, and physicians are essential.
Participation in departmental Performance Improvement activities is required.
