Job summary

Atrium Health Anson Emergency Department is a 24/7 emergency care facility serving a rural population with a 15-bed hospital onsite. The ED emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care and strong teamwork in a close-knit community setting.

We seek a contributing RN with at least 6 months of RN experience, active licensure, and BLS; ACLS is required within 6 months of hire. Inpatient RN experience is preferred to support a comprehensive care continuum.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new graduates
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire
• 1 year of inpatient RN experience preferred

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
