Job summary

Northwest Health - La Porte Hospital in Northern Indiana is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ER. This full-time day shift (7a–7p) offers 36 hours per week and a patient-centered approach to emergency care.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience required.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.
• Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and document clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures and respond to emergencies.
• Document care in the medical record and ensure safety.
