Job summary

St. David’s Georgetown Hospital in Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse for emergency department coverage. You will coordinate, deliver and document high-quality patient care in collaboration with physicians and the care team.

The role requires RN licensure, an RN diploma, and certifications such as ACLS/BLS/PALS/TNCC/NIHSS within specified timelines; travel is not required and experience is valued.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS and TNCC certifications required within specified timelines.
• NIHSS certification required within 30 days of start date.
• RN license and RN Diploma must be obtained/maintained.
• No travel required; 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care.
• Documents care in patient records in a timely manner.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and anticipates needs.
• Educates patients and families about conditions, treatments, meds and follow-up.
• Supports self-management and healthy lifestyle changes for patients.
