Job summary

St. David's HealthCare seeks a Registered Nurse in Emergency Services to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced trauma environment.

You will work with physicians and the care team to apply established nursing models and advocate for patients and families. The role requires RN licensure, an Associate Degree, and certifications such as ACLS, BLS, and TNCC within specified timelines, plus a 1-year experience preference.

Qualifications

• RN (Registered Nurse) license required.
• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• TNCC or TNCC Instructor must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date.
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management and reassessments.
• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider; documents care in the patient record.

Skills

RN License

ACLS within 6 months

BLS within 30 days

TNCC within 18 months

Stroke scale within 60 days
