HCA Houston Healthcare Mainland in Texas City seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room. The RN coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team, following established nursing models.

Qualifications

• Current RN license (Texas).
• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher.
• ACLS and BCLS certifications within 30 days of start date.
• CPI within 6 months of start date.
• TNCC within 6 months of start date.
• ENPC or PALS within 6 months of start date.
• 1 year RN experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Assess and manage patient pain and reassess after interventions.
• Document nursing care promptly in the patient record.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up steps.
• Assist with patient care planning and ensure smooth handoffs.
