Job summary

Ashe Memorial Hospital in North Carolina is actively seeking a dedicated Emergency Department RN to join our patient‑centered team on the 2nd shift. You will deliver high‑quality triage, assessment, and critical care to diverse patients, collaborating with physicians and the nursing staff to ensure safe, compassionate treatment.

The role requires NC RN licensure, CPR; ACLS and PALS are preferred, with TNCC a plus.

Qualifications

• Recent emergency or critical care experience preferred.
• Current NC RN license and CPR certification required or in process.
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred; TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, professional nursing care to patients.
• Administer medications and use EHR system for documentation.
• Perform head-to-toe assessments and triage as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team to plan care.
• Ensure infection control practices and patient safety at all times.
• Educate patients and families about illness, treatment and prevention.
