Job summary

HCA Houston ER 24/7 - Heights is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic ER setting. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure timely, compassionate treatment and outcomes.

You will participate in mentorship, clinical education opportunities, and certification support to advance your nursing career while serving the Houston community with excellence.

Qualifications

• RN licensure/certification as per state requirements.
• ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking in a fast-paced ER setting.
• Effective communication with medical staff and patients/families.
• Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the ER.
• Assess and manage patient pain; document care in medical records.
• Perform procedures and monitor patients per physician orders.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-ups.
• Collaborate with the care team to optimize patient outcomes.
