Qualifications
- ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications required within 30 days of start date.
- RN license required.
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
Responsabilités
- Assesses patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management, with reassessments after intervention.
- Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider; documents care in patient records.
- Responds promptly to patient requests and anticipates needs to provide exceptional care.
- Teaches patients, families, and caregivers about condition, treatment plan, medications, side effects, and follow-up; translates complex medical terminology.
- Educates patients and families on non-medicinal follow-up measures like diet and exercise, and prepares for future self-management.
