Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide cost-effective, patient-focused care.
• Performs ongoing assessment, develops diagnoses and goals, plans interventions, and evaluates outcomes.
• Documents in patient records according to standards to meet legal and quality requirements.
• Provides teaching to patients and families on Pain Management, Nutrition, Skin Integrity, Fall prevention, Diabetes, and Discharge instructions.
• Demonstrates commitment to patient safety and hospital values through ethical decision-making and confidentiality.
• Participates in research activities and collaborates with outcomes managers and department.
