Qualifications

• ASN in Nursing is required.
• At least 1 year of RN experience.
• Registered Nurse license for TX on hire; CPR/BLS within 14 days.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care in a cost effective, quality driven, patient focused manner.
• Performs ongoing assessment, formulates diagnoses and goals, plans interventions, and evaluates outcomes.
• Documents in patient and unit records according to health system standards for quality care.
• Provides teaching to patients and families on pain, nutrition, skin integrity, fall prevention, diabetes, discharge instructions.
• Maintains confidentiality, ethical decision-making, and patient safety in line with hospital goals.
• Engages in research activities and collaborates with Outcomes managers and department.
