HCA Healthcare, Inc.'s Methodist Hospital in San Antonio seeks a Registered Nurse for the Float Team to deliver safe, patient-centered care across units. You will apply nursing process, collaborate with the patient care team, and contribute to ongoing quality improvements.

The role offers comprehensive orientation, mentorship, leadership development, and access to advanced technologies. Requires current Texas RN license, 2+ years RN with 1 year in specialty areas, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
• Minimum of at least two years of RN experience with a minimum of one year specialty experience for those floating to specialty areas
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 60 days of hire date)
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification

Responsabilités

• Apply the nursing process, critical thinking, and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients.
• Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes
• Provide communication, confidence, and professionalism evidenced by active engagement in unit and organizational activities
• Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the patient care team
• Deliver quality nursing care services and promote a positive image of nursing
