Qualifications

• Required: BSN and active RN license in Texas.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications must be obtained within stated timeframes.
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and care team.
• Assess pain regularly and promote effective pain management with timely reassessments.
• Document care administration in the patient medical record promptly and thoroughly.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, plans, medications, and follow-up steps.
• Promote healthy lifestyle changes and prepare patients for future self-management.
