Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an ER Registered Nurse for the Dayton/Springfield Emergency Center to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting.

You will collaborate with an interprofessional team, assess patient status, develop care plans, administer medications safely, and coordinate care across departments to achieve optimal outcomes. Employment benefits support professional growth and well-being.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS Basic Life Support or ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support and PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support (preferred at hire; ACLS and PALS required within 6 months).
• One (1) year of professional RN experience; ED/CC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Care for groups of patients in a fast-paced ER environment as part of an interprofessional team.
• Evaluates, updates and revises the plan of care to achieve outcomes.
• Serves as point of contact for patients' care coordination across hospital departments.
• Provides care to a broad spectrum of patients from short-stay to trauma.
• Administer medications safely per policy.
• Other duties as assigned.
