Job summary
Incredible Health seeks an Emergency Department Registered Nurse for the Allentown, PA area. You will provide high‑quality urgent care, assess trauma and medical needs, and coordinate with the care team to determine discharge or admission.
Requirements include ADN or higher nursing degree, active RN license, ER experience preferred, and ACLS/PALS Certifications. Shifts include night hours with full/part‑time/per diem options and comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- ADN or higher nursing degree required
- Active RN license in good standing
- 1+ years ER experience preferred
- ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
- Experience with advanced medical equipment
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first line of defense for urgent medical care
- Treat trauma, injury or severe conditions
- Quickly assess needs and prioritize care
- Monitor health, administer medications and operate equipment
- Participate in code blue and other emergencies
- Collaborate with physicians to develop care plans
- Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans
