Job summary

WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon County, PA, seeks a dedicated RN for full-time night shift in the Emergency Department. Responsibilities include direct patient care across all ages, coordination with interdisciplinary teams, and leadership in patient safety and quality improvement.

Orientation covers high-risk care, and certifications are required. The role requires BLS, ACLS, and PALS with ongoing education; night and weekend differential applies, and rotating holidays are expected.

Qualifications

• ED RN experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications are required or obtain within orientation
• License as Registered Nurse with active status in the state

Responsibilities

• Provides and coordinates direct care based on nursing process and hospital standards.
• Safely administers prescribed treatments, medications, and nursing interventions.
• Communicates patient needs for safe handoffs during transitions of care.
• Documents patient responses and progress in EMR and uses unit indicators for quality improvement.
