Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.

• Basic arrhythmia interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum one year ER/acute care nursing experience; ER preferred.
• BSN preferred; CEN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in Telemetry and the Emergency Department.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing care.
• Communicate changes in the patient’s clinical condition with the physician, including diagnostic results and symptoms.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
